Alexis baby walkers, Roane model, have been withdrawn from the market by the Malta Standards Authority.

The authority said that on testing, these baby walkers were found to be non-compliant with the requirements of European standards to prevent falls down steps.

The MSA urged consumers to refrain from using these baby walkers and to return them to the place of purchase.

Shop owners were asked to withdraw the product from the market with immediate effect.

The MSA reserved the right to take action against operators who displayed and sold this model of baby walkers.
