A terrifying moment for any parent was caught on tape, as a gust of wind blew a baby's pram off a London Underground platform and onto the train tracks.

The video, taken by a Transport Police security camera, shows a man leaving the pram at the bottom of the stairs while going to get a second pram.

The unattended baby carriage then rolls onto the tracks. Shortly afterwards, a woman, who police believe to be the baby's mother, is seen jumping onto the tracks to retrieve the child, still trapped into the pram.

Police say it all happened seconds before a train pulled into the station.

Police are hoping to identify the people, to ensure the child wasn't injured in the July 23 incident.
