Facilities related to aviation will be open for visitors today to mark the centenary of flight in Malta.

The event has been coordinated by the Tourism Ministry.

Taking part are MIA, Air Malta, Lufthansa Technik, Medavia, SR Technics and aviation schools, all located around the airport.

The AFM Air Wing base will also be open.

Malta Air Traffic Services will hold tours of the control tower.

Opening hours are 10am to 4.30pm
