The value of a building bound by a promise of sale is calculated at the time the final contract is signed, the Nationalist Party said.

It was referring to a claim by the Labour Party yesterday that the Australia Hall contract was based on a promise of sale reached nearly 20 years ago on prices the party had been bound to.

The PL had been replying to another statement by the PN accusing the party of corruption.

The PN had issued its statement as a reaction to a story in Times of Malta saying property dealers and estate agents described as ridiculously low the €582,000 obtained for the property.
