The Malta FA today unveiled its calendar for season 2012/13.

The BOV Premier League will begin on the weekend of August 17-19 while the curtain-raising BOV Super Cup, to be contested by champions Valletta and Hibs, the FA Trophy winners, is scheduled for August 3.

The last match of the 2012/13 Premier League championship will take place on May 4.

On May 10 and 11, 2013, the two U*Bet FA Trophy semi-finals will be played while the final is pencilled in for May 19, eight days earlier compared to the date of this year's KO showdown.

Hibs beat Qormi 3-1 in yesterday's 2011/12 FA Trophy final.

The pre-season Euro Cup, involving the four Maltese teams competing in the UEFA competitions, namely champions Valletta, Hibs, Birkirkara and Floriana, will run from June 20 to 29.

The draws of the Champions League and Europa League qualifying rounds will be made at UEFA's Nyon headquarters on June 25. Valletta will open their Champions League campaign on July 4 while Hibs, Birkirkara and Floriana will play their first Europa League matches on July 5.
