What encouraged you to re-enter student life after years of absence?

On completing Junior College, I joined the police force. After a couple of years I realised I wanted to continue studying, so I first obtained a diploma in Management Studies at university and, soon after, started reading for the degree.

Does the fact that you are a TV actress hinder you in any way at university?

It does not really affect me; at least not that I'm aware of.

What do you hope to achieve from this degree?

The worlds of TV and acting have always fascinated me, so I chose to combine Communications with Theatre Studies, which I now find very useful. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be able to produce good quality programmes, maybe related to theatre.

How have your priorities changed since becoming a mother and how do you manage to juggle such a hectic lifestyle? What have you had to sacrifice?

Since I became a mother four months ago, my life has turned upside down, and so have my priorities. Filming was out of the question at first.

Studying for the January tests was very tough due to post-operation pain, lack of sleep and time available, since newborn babies are very demanding.

Many suggested I should take a year off from studying, but thanks to my husband and parents' help I'm coping well. Now that the baby is growing, I have found it harder to study for my finals, and filming for L-Evangelisti has started again.

However, with some good time management and planning, doing all the above is possible.

Of course I had to sacrifice my treats, such as regularly working out at the gym, evenings out and so on. It's a crazy life; I sometimes get in the car and realise I haven't even looked in the mirror yet. But it's worth it - just holding my baby and watching him smile.
