Audit firm Attard Giglio & Co's partners have joined leading audit and advisory group Mazars.

The appointment was announced by Mazars Group's executive board following the outcome of a favourable vote during the annual partners' convention in Rome in December.

Attard Giglio & Co will be re-branding to Mazars Malta in the next few months.

"Our association with Mazars marks an important step in the development of our firm, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year," managing partner Anthony Attard said.

"Integration with Mazars gives us the opportunity to continue to strengthen our position in the local market and, with Mazars' support, we can provide clients with more specialised services".

Established in 1998, Attard Giglio & Co. provides assurance, accounting, taxation and advisory services. It has a staff of 20 and three partners.

Mazars is an international, integrated and independent organisation specialised in audit, accounting, tax and advisory services. It has offices in 50 countries across five continents, with a workforce of over 10,500 professionals.
