I commute regularly between San Ġwann and St Julians/Sliema. The intersection, at the traffic lights, with one lane directing vehicles to Ta’ Giorni, is much abused.

This lane is clearly marked, directing vehicles in one direction while the outer lane directs vehicles towards Sliema or back up to San Ġwann. But bright sparks very often race to the unoccupied Ta’ Giorni lane to be first in line and then cheekily turn towards Sliema expecting you to give him/her the right of way, while generally giving killer looks if you try to edge in before them! I wonder whether these drivers are either ignorant or just arrogant!

This would be the perfect spot to install a camera or place a warden. I hope the council will take action on this daily infringement.
