The arrivals and nights spent in collective accommodation establishments during last November increased by 3.3 and 5.3 per cent respectively over the corresponding month last year.
A total of 567,873 nights were spent by 103,251 people in collective accommodation including hotels, guesthouses, hostels and tourist villages in November 2015. On a national level, there were 157 active collective accommodation establishments during November, with a net capacity of 38,718 bed-places.
All collective accommodation categories registered increases in total nights spent. Four-star hotels had the largest share of guest nights, accounting for 304,367 nights, or 53.6 per cent followed by three-star hotels with 118,832 guest nights.
