The newly introduced bus routes with large Arriva buses passing via Rudolph street and double bottle necked Mrabat Street, Sliema have translated into more frequent and longer traffic jams in the area.

Badly parked cars do nothing to help the situation.

This has escalated to the extent that even ambulances are being hindered from passing through.

Joe Morana, from the Sliema Residents' Association, captured the video above and said this was just another of these daily repeated occurrences.

"I reiterate that the newly introduced bus routes and large unsuitable Arriva buses are contributing to the traffic flow chaos in the area.

"Should Arriva and Transport Malta wait till September 11 to rectify the situation? Shame," he said.
