AD can be in the European Parliament, candidate Arnold Cassola, who is movement chairman believes.

This MEP election, he says, will be different because the quota is being brought down by some 7,000 votes as six candidates have to be elected and people under 40 have experienced two governments.

The main issue for AD in this election, he says, is to empower more civil society.

He speaks about the need to stop spring hunting but says AD would bow its head to the people's decision should the referendum fail.
