A 32-year-old man from Pembroke was yesterday allegedly robbed of not more than €300 when he was approached by a man armed with a knife in Schembri Street, Hamrun.

The police said that the police were formally informed of the incident, which allegedly took place at around 7.30 p.m. at around 9 p.m.

They said that the victim was getting on his motorbike when he was approached and asked to go into a car.

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera is holding an inquiry.
