The Arkadia Gozo Open, organised by the Gozo Squash Association, will be played at the Kempinski Hotel and Spa tomorrow between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Players from across Malta and Gozo will be taking part in what promises to be an interesting and entertaining competition. The standard of participants range from national team players to relative newcomers to the sport.

Gozo Squash Association president, Amand P. Veranneman, is expecting another successful tournament at the Kempinski.

“It’s good to see so many players in the tournament. We had requests from many more players but decided to keep the numbers manageable. Thanks to Paul Lake, we know that once again this event is in safe hands.”

Carl Camilleri, from the Marsa Sports Club, will be aiming for a hat-trick of victories after winning the Open the last two years.

However, he will face stiff opposition from some of the top Division One players from Malta this time round.
