Archbishop Paul Cremona will be leading a pilgrimage to Rome on Monday to mark the Pauline Year.

Mgr Cremona will on Tuesday celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls, where St Paul is believed to be buried. He will celebrate Mass at St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City the following day.

Mgr Cremona will come back to Malta on Thursday but the pilgrims will visit Assisi and St Francis' tomb on Friday, returning to the island on Saturday.

The Pauline Year celebrates the 2,000th anniversary since the birth of St Paul.
