Archbishop Paul Cremona visited Farsons Brewery in Mrieħel last week as part of his engagements marking the feast of St Joseph the Worker.

Mgr Paul Cremona was welcomed by company chairman, Bryan Gera and group chief executive Louis A. Farrugia.

In his address before Mass, Mr Gera spoke on the significance of the event and referred to the various means through which the company has always maintained a close collaboration with its employees. In his homily, Mgr Cremona focused on the importance of the dignity of the worker.

The Archbishop blessed two holy icons which were installed in the brewey's chapel to mark the occasion.

Concelebrating with the Archbishop were Fr Walter Cachia, parish priest of St Sebastian, Qormi, Fr Anton Cassar, parish priest of St George, Qormi, and Fr Alex Scerri parish priest of St Venera.

After Mass, Mgr Cremona mingled with a number of employees and discussed various topics of interest.
