Every day will be longer and more precious when we defend life, Archbishop Charles Scicluna told those who turned up at the Curia this morning to receive Christmas greetings.

The Archbishop urged those present to protect life from the very beginning until the very end.

He also spoke of the importance forgiveness.

“By being merciful, you are welcoming Jesus’s light into your life. In situations where there is pain or conflict, do not be afraid to do the first step.”

Among those eager to be blessed by the bishops were school children from the St Theresa College and families with children.

Also present to offer his greetings was Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona.

A children’s choir from St Julian’s Parish church sang Christmas hymns.
