Ashraf Ahmed, the president of the Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin’s Arab-Maltese Community, has been killed in a car accident in Egypt. The UĦM said yesterday “with deep regret” that its “beloved friend and colleague” was travelling in a car with his family in Egypt on his way back to Malta. Mr Ahmed and his son died on impact, while his wife and his other child are in a critical condition.
