Balzan defender Samir Arab and Tarxien’s wing-back Alex Alves were handed a three-match ban after both were sent off in Tuesday’s game which ended 2-2.
Referee Fyodor Zammit showed a straight red card to Arab and Alves for violent conduct after the Balzan defender’s foul on the Brazilian sparked a clash between the two in the dying stages.
Nine other Premier League players were banned for one match after the midweek games.
Sliema Wanderers will be without four players for their match against Valletta on Sunday after Gary Muir, Clifford Gatt Baldacchino, Mandinho and Denni received a one-match ban for four yellow cards,
Birkirkara have lost Edison Bilbao Zarate and Cain Attard, both for four cautions, for their match against Tarxien Rainbows tomorrow while Mosta will be without defender Tyrone Farrugia for their clash with Qormi on Sunday.
Farrugia was sent off in the 1-1 draw against St Andrew’s.
Pembroke’s Miguel Attard, sanctioned for four bookings, will miss his side’s derby against St Andrew’s on Sunday.
On Wednesday, Naxxar Lions defender Ennio Hamutenya also suspended for one game for four yellow cards. The Lions meet champions Hibs on Sunday.
