A partnership agreement was signed between APS Bank and Startup Malta. This one-year-long agreement will assist Startup Malta's young entrepreneurs in the running of its activities namely its Get BIZZY! Business Plan Competition.

Representing the respective entities were Alfred Triganza, senior manager (Marketing Unit) for APS Bank and Richard Muscat for Startup Malta.

"APS is the bank for the Maltese community and we are more than pleased to invest in Startup Malta not only because they are representative of our local community but also because they represent the future. As a bank we seek to assist organisations whose work will benefit our society.

"Startup Malta's activities have to-date proven beneficial to our student population as they have been given a chance to learn by doing", Mr Triganza said.

Mr Muscat explained how Startup Malta aims to "create value for the business community. Our partner's financial assistance is an element we strongly value as it gives us the opportunity to grow and develop as a foundation. It also allows us to offer additional opportunities to young Maltese entrepreneurs." He added that in the case of APS Bank, Startup Malta shall be adding value by acting as the bank's representative on Campus.

With a recently renovated image APS Bank will shortly be offering young entrepreneurs a number of interesting options to finance their businesses.

Commenting on this issue, Mr Muscat said that the future will offer wider opportunities for collaboration between the two entities. Further information on Startup Malta and its activities can be found on http://www.StartupMalta.com or on info@StartupMalta.com.
