An appeal’s court has confirmed a 12-month driving ban and a €2,400 fine that had been given to Angelo Bilocca , 35, of Marsa last February after he was found guilty of driving without a licence and insurance.

In his appeal, Mr Bilocca argued that he did pay insurance.

However, the court said that evidence showed that Mr Bilocca paid his insurance at 11.15am when he was fined at 10.45am.
