The Appeals Court today confirmed an eight year's jail term to 21-year-old Ivorian Mumin Trabulé.

Mr Trabulé had been jailed for attempting to rape two women and raping a third in Ta' Xbiex.

He had denied the charges.

In its decision, the Appeal's court noted that the first court had weighed up the evidence correctly and that this was backed up with DNA evidence.
