The Vittoriosa Historical and Cultural Society recently held its 30th annual luncheon for members and guests at Selmun Palace Hotel.

Participants included Vittoriosa St Lawrence Band president Paul Mallia, historian Winston Zammit, and Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club founder Stephen Giles. Archpriest Joe Caruana also attended the event.

The society was founded in 1954 to promote interest in the history of Vittoriosa, and to encourage the further study and appreciation of the city's cultural heritage.
