The Malta Police Force Band will be performing its Annual Christmas

Concert entitled `So This is Christmas`, under the baton of Senior Inspector

Mro Anthony Cassar at the Pjazza Tejatru Rjal, Valletta.  This Vocal and

Instrumental Concert will kick off at 11am on the 21st December and at 6:00

pm on the 24th December.

 

The Police Band will be featuring Soprano Marita Bezzina, Tenor Joe

Aquilina and Baritone Paul Zammit together with Pop Singers Dorothy

Bezzina and Neville Refalo.  The Band`s Pipes & Drums will be also taking

part.

 

This Spectacular Concert which will be hosted by Valerie Vella and Frank

Zammit will be offering a blended repertoire of classical, traditional and

contemporary Christmas Music by Ulrich Roever, Adolphe Adams, Bob

Geldof, Boney-M, Wham,  Paul Mc Cartney, John Lennon, Mud, Joe

Brown, Ray Sciberras, Alfred Farrugia and Andrew Calleja.

 

The Annual Christmas Concert by the Malta Police Force Band has now

become a traditional event during this time of year at the Capital, Valletta

since this is its twentieth edition.  The Police Band performs this Concert

each and every year upon invitation by the Malta Council for Culture & the

Arts in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund under the distinguished

Patronage of His Excellency The President.

 

Entrance will be free of charge and the general public is cordially invited to

attend.
