SANT. On August 22, CARMEN of Rabat, aged 75, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her daughters Sandra and her husband Bill Hotrum, and Julie and her husband Dennis Privitera, her granddaughter Martina, her brother Emanuel Said and his wife Vivian, Kola, widower of her sister Maria, her sister Tessie, widow of Charles Tanti, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Rose and her husband Tommy Tonna, Doris and her husband Joe Cachia, Victor and his wife Rita, Antoinette and her husband Emanuel Abela, Charlie and his wife Doris Sant, and Miriam and her husband Rosario Agius, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, August 27 at 8.30am for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Qrendi cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SANT. On August 23, JOSEPHINE, widow of Joseph, aged 96, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves to mourn her loss her children Alfred, Michael, Lino and his wife Zdena, Marlene and her husband Philip, and Denis and his wife Marisa, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be held tomorrow, Friday, August 26 at 9.15am at St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, followed byinterment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

A Mass in Nadia’s memory, and that of her grandson CESCO, who passed away on July 15, 2016, will be celebrated today, Thursday, August 25 at 7pm at Balzan parish church.
