CARUANA SCICLUNA. On March 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, Dr JOSEPH, aged 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Anna née Eynaud, his sons Mark and Andrew, his brothers Noel and his wife Rose, and Adrian, his sisters Anna wife of John Scerri, Ina wife of Joe Grech and Edna wife of Stephen Curmi, his mother-in-law Lucia Eynaud, his brothers-in-law Prof. Joseph Eynaud and his wife Carmen and Charles Eynaud and his wife Carmen, his aunts, uncle, cousins, other relatives, numerous friends and colleagues. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for the Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the medical staff and nurses in the cardiac wards and ITU. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DESIRA. On March 24, MABEL, of Fgura, aged 69, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her children Stephen and his wife Tania, Leo and his wife Judith and Pierre and his wife Roberta, her grandchildren Kurt, Naomi, Chanelle, Trudy, Jake and Gareth, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church in Fgura, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at St Lawrence Cemetery in Vittoriosa. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On March 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAULINA (Lina) of Msida, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Alice, Aida, wife of the late C.B. Grech, Stella, wife of Frank Valletta, Tessie, wife of Anthony Barker of New Zealand, her brother Alfred Micallef Attard, husband of Monica, her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for St Joseph parish church, Msida, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Lija Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

TONNA. On March 23, Fr NAZZARENU, of Żurrieq, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church at Id-Dar tal-Kleru. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Pawlu and his wife Ċettina, Albino and his wife Phyllis, Chris and his wife Lina, Ġemma and his wife Alfred, nephews and nieces, relatives, friends and priests. The funeral will be held today with the cortege leaving St James chapel in Żurrieq at 3pm to St Catherine’s church in Żurrieq. Mass will be said at 3.30pm.

TRAVERS TAUSS. On March 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, MONICA née Calleja, aged 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her only son Pierre and Marise, her beloved grandsons Niki and Martha, Matthew and granddaughter Petra, her brother Ray and Marie Therese, her sisters Eileen and Ronnie, May and her husband Joe, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Tomorrow being the 19th anniversary of his meeting with Christ, a Mass will be celebrated at the Jesuit chapel, Dar Manuel Magri, Tal-Qroqq at 7.15pm. GHIRLANDO – MARIA. Treasured memories of a beloved sister on the third anniversary of her passing to eternal life. So sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Connie and Edgar, Tanya, Martin and their families. Dear Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PULLICINO – EILEEN. In loving memory of a much loved mother on the seventh anniversary of her death. Always loved and deeply missed by her daughters Stephanie and Winfried, Patricia and Chris and Graziella, her grandchildren Francesca, Alexia and Elviana. Mass for the repose of her soul will be said at St Gregory parish church, Sliema at 6.30pm. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PULLICINO. In ever loving memory of EILEEN, today the seventh anniversary of her demise. Fondly remembered by her sister Tania, Peter Paul and family. The 6.30pm Mass said today at St Gregory parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of her soul.

XUEREB – KARMENA. On the 13th anniversary of her meeting with the Lord. Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her granddaughter Alexandra.
