Obituaries

BRINCAT. On March 23, ANTHONY of Floriana, aged 65, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Connie, his children Mario, Claire and Adolf, Alex and Daniela and Tania, his grandchildren Nicole and Michela, his brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St Publius parish church, Floriana, tomorrow at 9am. Donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated.

BUGEJA. On March 23, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, JOSEPH of Ħamrun, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Tony and his wife Eileen, Lino and his wife Doreen, Josette and her husband Martin Imbroll, his granchildren Robert and his wife Charmaine, Daniela and her husband Massimo, Mark and Abigail, Lara, Franco, Stefania, Sharon and Carl, his great-grandchildren Matthias, Nicolai and Zea, his sister Rita, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. CASSAR. On March 20, DORIS, aged 91, passed peacefully to a better life. She is deeply missed by her nephew Francis and his wife Christine Aloisio, her nieces Sr Dorothy, Edith, wife of the late Joseph Aloisio, Bernadette Gerada, Marthese Sultana, Ruth Cassar, Noemi Weil and their families, her great-nephews and nieces Franco and Daniela Aloisio, Martina and Andrea Gerada, other relatives, friends and neighbours. We will honour her life with a Mass præsente cadavere at Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, tomorrow at 2pm. D’AMATO – SYLVIA. On March 18, in Newcastle, Australia, our dear sister, aged 56, has gone to the Lord after losing a brave battle against her illness. She is sadly missed by her four children, Michelle and her husband Luke, Mark, Andrew and Daniel, also grandchildren Josiah and Katherine, her two sisters Connie and husband Godwin, Myriam residing in Holland and brother Michael, nephews and nieces, Melanie, Carolyn, Daniel, Sean and Nick. Also many friends in Malta and abroad. Her funeral took place on Friday, March 22, in Wallsend, New South Wales, in the presence of her family and friends. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23v1.

GATT. On March 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANN, née Lowell, aged 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Peter, her son Simon and his wife Beatrice, Blanche and Richard, Jennifer and Ron, Michael, Caroline and Richard, her grandchildren Sophie, Paul, James and Julian, in-laws, nieces and nephew, her carer Mimi, other relatives and friends.
