On March 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIANNA née Spiteri, widow of Valent ex-sacristan of Annunciation parish church, Balzan, aged 80, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Mary and her husband Frans Vella residing in Canada and Carmen and her husband Alfred Bray, her grandchildren Nancy and her husband Jamie, Mario and his wife Isabella, Josef and his wife Nicolette, Nicholas, Christopher, Leanne, Amy and Lisa, her great-grandchildren Sebastian, Naomi and Adelaide, her brother Joe and his wife Stella and Tommy widower of her sister Jinnie both residing in Australia, her in-laws and their families, nephews and nieces, cousins other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, at 8am for Annunciation parish church, Balzan where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Balzan cemetery. Donations to the Renal Unit of Mater Dei Hospital will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CREMONA. On March 18, VICTOR, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He is deeply missed by his wife L ucia, his son Joseph and his wife Patricia, his daughter Moira and her husband Lawrence, his grandchildren Shaun, Lara, Kyle and Kaia, his mother Carmela, his brothers Rev. Fr Ugo Cremona, John, Joe, Lina, Doris and Marcelle, their respective families, other relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said tomorrow at 8.30am at the St Dominic parish church, Valletta.

The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.15am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. VASSALLO. On February 26, MAE, née Moore, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A private funeral service was held at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel. A memorial Mass will be said today at 6pm at St Patrick’s church, Sliema. Donations to the Ursuline Creche and the Salesians of St Patrick will be appreciated.
