AQUILINA. On March 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, Sr M.ANTONIA, (Dionisia), of the Sisters of Charity, aged 82, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her sisters Carmela, Sr Adolfina (Franciscan Sister of the Sacred Heart), Tarcisia and her husband Silvio, her brother Willie, her sister-in-law Polly in America, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.15pm for the parish church of Tarxien where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm followed by interment at the cemetery of the Resurrection Church (Knisja tal-Erwieħ), Tarxien. DARMANIN. On March 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, ADELINA, née Bonnici, wife of the late Carmelo, aged 93, passed away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Austin and his wife Antoinette, Anna and her husband Renato Farrugia, Paul and his wife Joyce, Tonio and his wife Rita, her grandchildren Julian, Jonathan and his wife Rachel, Georgette and her husband Jeffrey, Carmel and his wife Claire, Ilona and her husband Max, Michael and his girlfriend Anne Marie, Rianne, Christian and his girlfriend Daniela, her great-grandchildren Jamie, Sofie, Jordan, Sam, Mia, Jake and Sebastian, her sister Doris, her brother Peter and his wife Monica, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.15am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FARRUGIA. On March 16, M’CONCETTA, aged 79, widow of Gulio of Mqabba, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Charlie and his wife Miriam, Grace and her husband Michael, Mario and his wife Polly, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren together with her brothers Fr Karm Zammit, Rosario, Ġorġia, Maria and Rita, her in-laws and their family, other relatives and friends. SPITERI. On March 15, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, BLANCHE, née Ellul, widow of Joseph F. Spiteri, passed away peacefully after a short illness, at the age of 87, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Hubert and his wife Mary Doris, Oswald and his wife Ruth, Liliana, Martin and his wife Pauline, Gloria and her husband Umberto, Elizabeth and her husband Paul, Dr Joseph F. and his wife Carmen, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital today at 2pm for the Immaculate Conception church, Ibraġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. WHITLOCK. On February 26, MARY YVONNE, née Cremona, of Toronto, passed away peacefully at the age of 92, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loving mother of Yvonne Whitlock and Pamela Kaltenreider and her son Charles Whitlock and his wife Joy. Fondly remembered nana to her beloved grandchildren, their spouses and her great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her loss her brother, Dr Chev. Jaime H. Cremona and his wife Liz, her sister-in-law Yvonne Cremona and many other relatives and friends.
