Obituaries

BORG. On March 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES (supervisor at ST Microelectronics), of Gżira, aged 55, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving children Jeremy and his wife Catherine, Tiziana and her husband Alan, Lindsay and her boyfriend Kurt, his brothers and sister Joe, Marian and Tony, MaryAnne Grech, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday for Gżira parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

CASSAR. On March 8, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, EDWARD, aged 73, widower of Jill, of Żebbuġ, residing in Mellieħa, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Denise and her husband Gerald, Michael and his partner Fozia, and Julie, his grandchildren Sasha, Kay, Yazmine, Hannah, Ben, Michela, Tom and Elliot, his great-grandchild Sebastian, his brothers and sister, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 9.15am for Our Lady of Victory parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10am followed by interment at the Divine Mercy cemetery, St Paul’s Bay. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be appreciated.
