ABELA. On February 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, TESSIE of Tarxien, aged 81, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her husband Peppi of Dolceria Primavera, her daughters Lourdes and her husband Reno, Katy and her husband Joe, Rita, widow of John, and Elizabeth, her grandchildren Manolita, Malcolm, Pedro, Tiziano and Graziella, together with their spouses, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30am for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
AGIUS. On February 23, at the age of 65, DORIS, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Mario, her children Izabella and her husband Fulvio and Franco and his wife Pauline, her grandchildren Jasmine and Elizabeth, her brothers and sisters Joe, Maria, Carmen, Tessie and Benny and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Fleur-de-Lys, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. CAMILLERI. On February 21, at St Vincent De Paul, Luqa, HENRY, of Sliema, aged 90, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving daughters Gloria and her husband Robert Spindler, Josette and her husband Paul Portelli, and Madeleine and her husband Emanuel Darmanin, his sister Ines Pace, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent De Paul tomorrow at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. HOLLAND – LORNA MARY, passed peacefully away on February 2, aged 97. Beloved mother of Jeremy and the late Rodney and grandmother to Christian, Clare, Emily, Mark, Dominic and Alice and great-grandmother to Luke, Daisy, Fred, Daniel, Tom, Finnian, Felix and Lija. A service of thanksgiving will be held at the Eastbourne Crematorium family chapel on February 26 at 11.15am and afterwards at the Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club. Lorna lived for 30 years in Malta and with her late husband Maurice, opened the Ramla Bay Hotel in 1966 and would like her many friends on the island to remember her happy life there with great pleasure.
JOSEPH. On February 10, JOHN (ex-B. Paradise and chairman, MADC), aged 82, died suddenly in Seaford, UK. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved wife Diane, his daughters Maxine and her husband Charlie Zammit and Roberta and her husband Adrian Salmon, his dearest grandsons Dean, Matthew, Zak and Oliver, relatives and his many friends both in UK and Malta. The funeral took place on February 15 at Eastbourne Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MUSCAT. On February 21, at Boffa Hospital, JOSEPHINE, née Buhagiar, aged 77, passed peacefully away. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Joseph, her daughters Liliana and Rita and her husband Ian Azzopardi, her precious grandchildren Matthew, David and Mark-Andrew, her sisters Pauline Meli and Maryanne and her husband Karmenu Vella, MP, and their respective families, cousins, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral took place yesterday. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
