GASHUT. On December 24, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, to Rajea Raseu née Franka and Mohamed Ibrahim, God’s precious gift of a son – ADAM, a most welcome brother to Ibrahim. Thanks to midwife Carmen Scerri, the obstetrician, paediatrician and Meylin who was present during the delivery, for the care given to us.

ABELA. On February 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSE, née Sammut, aged 95, widow of Nazzareno, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Vivienne and Irene, Ronald and his wife Helen, her beloved grandsons Mark and his wife Tessa, and Ian, her brothers Louis, John and his wife Yvonne residing in the US, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3pm for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. BORG. On January 22, DAVID, residing in Inverurie, passed away in Aberdeen, aged 68. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Margaret, his children Gary and wife Ruth, Lynn, Joseph and Nicole, and David, as well as his sister Pauline and his brothers Charlie and his wife Sally, Alex and his wife Carmen, and Victor who resides in Dorset, England. The funeral was held in Inverurie, Scotland on Wednesday, January 30. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated on Friday at 7.30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira.
