SAMMUT. On October 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Michelle née Shires and Darren, God’s precious gift of a son – JAMIE, a welcome brother to Luke. Thanks be to God.
Obituaries
ASCIAK. On October 31, CHARLES, passed peacefully away to join his beloved wife Mary. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Michael and his wife Marthese and Erminia and her husband Ralph Dando, his grandchildren Tara, Lauren, Danielle and Gillian, his brothers and sister and their spouses, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow at 9am at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. Special thanks go to the staff at St Vincent de Paul residence for their care and dedication.
BONDIN. On November 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, FRANS, 89, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marija, his children Joseph, Doris and her husband Mario Scicluna, Anna, widow of Tony, his grandchildren, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for Ta’ Xbiex parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.
DEGIORGIO. On November 2 at Mater Dei Hospital, Capt. LINO, aged 77, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Grace née Pulis, his children Michael and his wife Christine of France, Giselle and Domenic, his grandchildren, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday November 5 at 8am for Balzan parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
