BONAVIA. On February 8, at his home in Essex, JOE, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, surrounded by his beloved family. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Sandy, his daughter Natasha and her husband John, his mother Mary, née Grech, widow of George, of Canada, in-laws, his sister Connie, brothers George and Lawrence and their families, his uncles and aunts Joe, Polly, Renzo, Doris, Timmy and families, Carmel and Fr Silvester, OFM Cap., relatives in UK, Canada, US and Malta. The funeral took place in Essex. A Mass for his repose will be said next Monday, February 14 at 6 p.m. at Żabbar Sanctuary parish church. Relatives and friends are kindly requested to attend. BUSUTTIL. On February 11, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, ROSE of Sliema, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Frank and Louise, Margaret and Ronald and Dominic and Rose, her grand­children Rowena, Ian, Mark, Kristina, Francesca, Mark, Gillian and Caroline, her great-grand­children, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence on Monday at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MICALLEF. On February 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIANNE, aged 89, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nieces Josephine and her husband Adrian Chetcuti, Mary and her husband Andrew West, and Marlene and her husband Ray Micallef, her grandnephews and grandnieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today for Tarxien parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Ta’ l-Erwieħ Cemetery, Tarxien. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

SCICLUNA. On February 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIOVANNA, née Dimech, of Ħamrun, aged 83, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Charles and his wife Ann, Freddie and his wife Rita, Albert, Mario, Joseph and Doris, her grandchildren Suzanne, Michelle, Sarah, Kenneth and Paul and families, her great-grandchildren, her brothers, in-laws, their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, whereMass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
