ABELA. On February 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, Arthur (Turu), aged 78, of Cospicua and residing in Kalkara, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jacqueline, his children Dorianne and her husband Frankie Tanti and Kevin and his wife Claudette Abela Baldacchino, grandchildren Jamie and Aidan, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9.45 a.m. for Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Collegiate Church in Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10.15 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CASHA. On February 1, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, LINO, aged 71, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Josephine, née Melillo, his children Steven and Diane, Martin and Megan and John, his beloved grandchildren, his sister Lilien and her husband Henry Borg Barthet, his brother-in-law Edward Melillo and his wife Victoria, his sister-in-law Agnes Melillo, cousins, nephews and nieces. Mass for the repose of his soul was said at St Michael’s parish church in Oakville.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Beatrice née Fava, his children Fr Mario, Paul and his wife Paula, James and his wife Josephine, and Michael and his wife Ramona, his grandchildren Sharon and her boyfriend Luke, Janice, Justine, Jeremy, Julian and Julia, his brother Vincent of Australia, his in-laws Joe and his wife Helga, Oscar and his wife Mary, Mark and his wife Joyce and Elizabeth Fava, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Gżira parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Mqabba cemetery.
