BARTOLI. On January 4, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, MARLENE of Rabat, aged 65, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sister, Louis and his wife Cecilia, Freny and her husband Joseph Portelli and Tonio and his wife Carmen, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 3 p.m. for St Dominic church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

FALZON. On December 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, ESTHER, née Cauchi, widow of Francis Anthony, of Valletta, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Michael and his wife Mary Anne, George and his wife Josette of UK, John and his wife Lilian of Australia, Marisa of UK, Alex and his wife Victoria and Martin, her grandchildren David and Stephanie, Greg and Jenny, Mark and Kelly, Stephanie, Kenneth and Kumi, Katya and Ben, Gillian and Brent, Dustin and Carla, her great-grandchildren Riku, Kira, Marisa and Christy, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. for Mount Carmel Basilica church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

A memorial Mass for the repose of the soul of Dr MARIO FELICE will be celebrated on January 8 at 6.30 p.m. at the church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Paceville, St Julians.

The Ciantar and the Demajo family would like to thank the Rev. Clergy who concelebrated Mass, the staff of St Joseph Ward 22 at St Vincent de Paul, all relatives and friends who attended the funeral, sent cards, flowers or in any way expressed their sympathy on the sad loss of their mother CARMELA CIANTAR who went to meet the Risen Lord on December 7, 2010.
