BORG. On December 2, at St Vincent de Paul residence, ĠUŻEPPI, widower of Pawla, ex-sacristan, St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Fr Joe Borg, ex-chairman RTK Radio and Media Centre, Frans, ex-permanent secretary, Ministry of Education, and his wife Doris, Helen widow of Mario, his nieces Suzanne and her husband James and their son Julian, Jeanette, wife of Jeffrey, and Elizabeth, his brother Pawlu, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Computer courses

The National Council of Women said computer awareness, ECDL and Advanced ECDL courses will start on January 10. Classes will be held once a week – in the morning from 9 to noon and in the evening from 5 to 8, with each course being limited to eight students.

Prayer evening

An evening of prayer for peace and the new evangelisation of the world will be held at the basement chapel of Sarria church, Floriana on December 15 from 5.15 to 6.15 p.m. It is organised by the International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope John XXIII.
