MALLIA. On October 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, ADELAIDE, of Kalkara, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Victoria, Margaret and Doris, widow of Joe Mallia, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Joseph parish church, Kalkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SAMMUT. On October 11, at his residence, CARMEL (Charles), ex-Customs Officer, of Birkirkara, residing in Naxxar, aged 56, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Louise, his sons Francesco and Matthew, his sisters Nancy, Anna, Doris, Josephine and Rita, their spouses and their families, his brother-in-law Albert, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
