DEBRINCAT. On September 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Marsa, aged 82, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Doris with whom he lived, Cettina, widow of Saviour, Evelyn, widow of Edward, nephews and nieces and their respective spouses and families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for the Holy Trinity parish church, Marsa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

RAPA. On September 28, CARMEL, aged 91, passed away peacefully at home in Għajnsielem, Gozo. MSc Courses In ICT

The University’s Faculty of ICT is launching full-time day courses in MSc following the successful completion of its first cohort of students graduating this year after a three-year course.

One of the courses on offer is MSc in Telecommunications. This is open to engineering students who finished the faculty’s three-year degree in Communications and Computer Engineering or have equivalent qualifications from the University of Malta or other universities abroad.

This MSc runs for two years with students covering one year of taught academic content and another to follow an engineering project in the area of telecommunications and signal processing.

Together with the MSc in Telecommunications, the faculty is also launching an MSc in Computer Information Systems and an MSc in Microelectronics and Microsystems.
