BORG. On August 14, at Casa Antonia, LINA née Vassallo of Sliema, aged 85, widow of Valhmor, passed away. She leaves to mourn her loss her children David, Martin, Gloria, Ivan and Edward, her sister Catherine, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. The family would like to thank her carers Dorielle, Donna, Polly and Sharon, and also the kind staff and management at Casa Antonia.

DIMECH. On August 13, MARIO, aged 40, of Mosta, secretary of the 15th August Pyrotechnic Society, passed away in the 15th August fireworks factory explosion. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother Carmena, his brother John and his wife Mary, his brother Vincent and his wife Lorraine, his nephews Marie Claire, Jean Marc and Mariah, other relatives and friends, especially those from the 15th August Pyrotechnic Society and the community of Mosta. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 6.45 a.m. for Main Street, Mosta, corner with Independence Avenue. From there, a cortege will leave at 7.30 a.m. with the participation of both Mosta band clubs, the Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society and the Santa Marija Philharmonic Society, for St Mary’s parish church, Mosta. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated.

FARRUGIA – CAMILLA. Passed away peacefully in the UK, on August 3, 2010, at the age of 68. Loved and remembered by her husband Frank, her daughters Tania and Francesca, their spouses Alan and Joe, her son Stuart, her grandchildren Amii and Zach, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St Paul’s Anglican Pro-Cathedral, Valletta. The family will later be holding a private ceremony to scatter her ashes in adherence with her wishes. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

GRECH DIMECH. On August 15, at Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, Mgr VICTOR Dimech, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Wanda, his cousins Ronnie Cremona, George Cremona and Baron Salvino Testaferrata and their families, Mary Cesare Benvenuti née Cremona, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Dar tal-Kleru tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. for St Paul collegiate church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MUSCAT. on August 15 at Mater Dei Hospital, MARCELLINE, née Camilleri, aged 64, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, her children Marisa, Claire, Charmaine and her husband Etienne, her grandchildren Miguel, Andrea and Beppe, her brothers and their wives, her best friend Julie, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated.

Mass for the repose of the soul of President Emeritus Guido de Marco, will be said at St Cajetan church, Ħamrun, tomorrow at 6.30 p.m.
