ABELA. On July 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSETTE, aged 65, of Naxxar, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved husband John, her dear children Lydia and Simon, her brothers George and his wife Marie, Bertie and his wife Carol, Mario, her sister Helen and her husband Manuel Xuereb, her in-laws, Ronald and Miriam Abela, Edward and Christine, Herbert and Bernadette, Peter and Irene, niece Steph and other nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15 a.m. to Maria Bambina parish church, Naxxar, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m. followed by interment at Lija Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Neurology Medical ward for their dedication. TOUW TEMPELMANS-PLAT. On July 1, at Marian House, CORRY, aged 97, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her two sons Geert-Henk and his wife Deborah, Fr Dennis F.P. Touw, parish priest of St Gregory the Great, her grandchildren Sascha and her husband Robert and Jason, her great-grandchildren Morgan and Ashley and many friends. The funeral Mass praesente cadavere will be offered at the church of St Gregory the Great, South Ruislip, Middlesex, England on Monday, July 12 at 11 a.m. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

On July 5, at Villa M.SSma Annunziata, Balzan, Sister MARY JOSEPHINE (Carmelina) of the Sisters of Charity, aged 88, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her sister-in-law Mavis, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated today at 9 a.m. at the chapel of the convent of the Sisters of Charity, 55, Birbal Street, Balzan, followed by interment at The Risen Christ Cemetery, Tarxien. Lord grant her eternal rest.
