BARBARA. On May 22, at Karin Grech Hospital, VICTOR, aged 82, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Mary, Carmen, widow of Vincent Zammit Satariano, Anne and her husband Tony Pavia, and his brother Tony and his wife Phyllis, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Karen Grech Hospital on Tuesday at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Graces church, Żabbar, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Żabbar Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, are appreciated. May he rest in peace.

FORSHAW. On May 22, at Casa Arkati, Mosta, MIRIAM, née Randon, aged 87, of Sliema, widow of Edward, passed peacefully away to meet the risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her only sister , Gaby, wife of Joseph Pellegrini Petit, and her beloved nieces Gabriella Holland and Monique, wife of John Formosa, her great-nephews and great-nieces Nicholas, Gulja, Carla, Pascal and Pippa, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Arkati tomorrow at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Adolorata cemetery. KARDASSIS. On May 22, at her sister's residence in Attard, HELEN née Costigan, aged 72, widow of Panayotis of Greece, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her dearest son Vassileios, her sisters Carmen, wife of Anthony Tabone, Anna Costigan and Marie, wife of Fabio Insardà, her beloved nieces Mariella-Pia, Gabriella and nephew Umberto, her in-laws in Greece, other relatives and her many friends in Malta and overseas. Dear Helen, you have left us to go and meet the Risen Lord. Our heart is broken but we are happy that you can now receive your reward for your generosity, love and suffering. Thank you for being such a good mother, sister, aunt and friend. Always in our hearts and prayers. May the Lord grant you eternal rest. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. PISCOPO. On May 21, at his residence, Rev. Mgr JOSEPH PISCOPO of San Lawrenz, Gozo, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother and sisters, Maria, Lawrence and his wife Pacienza, Victoria and her husband Toni Formosa, Eucharistika, Benignia and Stella, his nephews and nieces Joe Formosa, Stephen Piscopo, Carmen Francalanza, Carmen Micallef, Frances Vella of Australia and Miriam Vella, their respective spouses, great nephews and nieces, the ecclesiastical presbytery and the whole community of San Lawrenz, Gozo, other relatives and friends. Tomorrow at 2 p.m. Mgr Joseph Piscopo will be laid at San Lawrenz parish centre for mourners to pay their last respects and prayers. At 4 p.m. the funeral Mass, led by H.L Mgr Bishop Mario Grech, will be said at St Lawrence parish church, followed by interment in the family grave at the parish cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SAYERS (CAMILLERI). On May 14, at Norwich, UK, BRIAN, passed away after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude. He leaves to mourn his life long partner Julie and his daughters Georgia and Elaine, his mother Pauline, his sisters Muriel and her husband John Plascott, Sr Dorothy, his brother Dennis, his grandchildren Luke and Nicole, family and friends.
