Obituary
AXIAQ. On May 8, Fr WILLIAM AXIAQ, OFM Cap, passed peacefully away, aged 67. He leaves to mourn his loss the Franciscan Capuchin Friars, his brothers and sister Jimmy and his wife Magdalene, Mario and his wife Mary, Margaret, Joe and his wife Ċettina, relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be held tomorrow at Għajn Dwieli Capuchin church at 8 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
BORG. On May 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 80, of St Julian's (ex-treasurer, Lotto Receivers Union), went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Mary, his children Michael and his wife Karen, Andrew, Rita and her husband Alex Mifsud, and Simon and his partner Justin, his grandchildren Nicole, Daniel, Gillian and Theresa, his brothers Carm and his wife Maggie, Julian and his wife Jacke, and Tony and his wife Mary, Lora, widow of his brother Edward, his sisters Evelyn and Catherine and her husband Henry, Angelo, widower of his sister Helen, other in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for St Julian's parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Eden Foundation (Inspire), Bulebel, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Barbara, his sister Marlene and her husband Alfred Williams, his brother Patrick and his wife Marie, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories in Senglea, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
