BRIFFA. On March 21, DORIS née Agius, of Valletta, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her dear husband Dr Paul V. Briffa, her children Diane and her husband John Caruana, Norman and his wife Susan, Claire and her husband Charles Zahra, her grandchildren Abigail, Paul, Nathan and Michela, her only sister Vivi and her husband Tony Borg and their children Frank, Albert, Anthony, Mario and their respective husbands and families, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves her Sliema residence tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Gregory's church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CASSAR. On March 21, GEORGE, aged 81, passed away peacefully at his residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Miriam, his son Pierre and his wife Maria Grazia, his grandchildren George and Chiara, his brother Leli and his wife Jean, his brother-in-law Victor and his wife Frances Vassallo, his sister-in-law Celene Cassar, his nephews and nieces. LANZON. On March 21, TONY, loved and loving father of Ron and Mary, Greg and Cheryl, Peter and Margot, Pierre and Flora, grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of seven. Always in our thoughts, always in our hearts, you were the sunshine in our lives. The funeral will be held tomorrow at the Birżebbuġa parish church at 2.30 p.m.
SCERRI. On March 21, at Karin Grech Hospital, CARMELO, aged 92, of Paola, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Maria Galea and his son Joe, their family, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 7.15 a.m. for the Santa Maria Addolorata chapel, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

A memorial Mass will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, to celebrate and honour the life of Dr MARCO GRISCTI who passed away on February 9 in Ireland. All relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
