ABELA. On March 1, at her residence in Dingli, GRAZIA, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her children. She leaves to mourn her loss her children JohnMary, Rita, Saviour, Emmanuela, Joe, Connie, Rose, Mario , Carmen, Marika, Anthony and Marielou, their respective spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother and sisters, nephews, nieces,other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence today at 3.45 p.m. for Dingli parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 4 p.m. followed by interment at Mater Doloroza Cemetery, Dingli. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BONETT. On February 28, at Bon Sud Home, Pembroke, CARMEN, of Sliema, aged 83, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her dearest Christina who took great care of her during the last 18 years, her sons Anthony and Daniel, besides other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Bon Sud Home today at 9 a.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

RADMILLI. On March 1, at home, RITA, aged 89, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Louis, her children David and his wife Bertha, Victor and his wife Graziella, Suzanne and her husband Michael Pace, Sandra, widow of her son Noel, and her sister Sr Alexius of the Community of St Joseph of the Apparition, her grandchildren Rachel, Paul, Mark and his wife Denise, Robert and his fiancée Tara, Matthew, Nicole, Luigi and Andrew, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 2.30 p.m. at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema. Donations to the Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, and the MMDNA, would be appreciated. May God grant her eternal rest.

Concerts at Carmelite priory

Three concerts will be held at the Carmelite Priory Museum, Mdina tomorrow, on Saturday and on Sunday. Tomorrow's concert is entitled Clavichord Works and will be performed by Ramona Zammit Formosa.

Saturday's concert is a cello and voice recital entitled Canticum Sacrum featuring works by Bach, Caccini and Cello. It will be performed by Ken Scicluna and Lucie Kucharova.

Sunday's concert is a flute duet entitled The Magic of the Flutes and will be performed by Ramona Zammit Formosa and Silvio Zammit. All concerts commence at noon.

Guide for Lent'

A book entitled Is-Seba Kelmiet, by Fr Timothy Radcliffe, has been republished.

The book is intended as a guide for everyday life during the time of Lent. It focuses on meditation and keeping Christians on the right path during the time of solace and fasting.

It is available from Dominican convents, from Preca Library, St Catherine's Home in Attard, as well as from Radju Marija in Rabat and Victoria. The price is €5.

Papal youth meeting

The Diocesan Youth Commission (KDŻ) is accepting registrations from young people aged 14 to 35 who would like to attend the Papal meeting with youths at the Valletta Waterfront on April 18. They are asked to register through the website www.kdz.org.mt.

Lenten talks

Lenten talks in Maltese, organised by the Friendship Group, will be held at Sarria church, Floriana from Monday, March 15 to Wednesday, March 17. Fr Paul Deguara will preside over them after Mass is held at 7 p.m.

Breast care support
