ALOISIO. On February 12, JOHN, aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anne, his children Michela and her husband Nick Johnson, Raphael and his wife Philippa, his grandchildren Emma, Michael, Anna and Andrew, his brother Louis and his wife Rose of Australia, his sister Valerie and her husband Henry Tortell, his good friend Grace Tonna Barthet, his in-laws, his relatives and friends. BARTOLI. On February 11, HAROLD, aged 79, passed away peacefully at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after an illness borne with great fortitude. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children David and his wife Caroline, Celia and her husband Paul Lantsoght, Alan and his wife Sandra, his grandchildren Lara, Michael, Christina, George and Luke, his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Lilian Miceli Farrugia, Cecil Bartoli, Rosemary and her husband Lewis Glavina, Edwina and her husband Henry Dandria, Gerald and his wife Doreen Bartoli, together with his in-laws, Jean, widow of Wilfred Bartoli, Joan, widow of Edward Bartoli, Luisette (Suzette) Mifsud, Antoinette (Nanou) and her husband Don Willock, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 8.45 a.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, or Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. CESAREO. On February 12, MARLENE née Soler passed away peacefully at Perth, Australia, after an illness borne with great fortitude. She leaves to mourn her great loss her husband Randolph, her children Stephanie and her husband Ron Moore, Malcolm and his wife Diane, Jackie, her grandsons Luke and Ryan, her brother David and his wife Jennifer, her sisters Doreen and her husband Ernest Rossi, Patricia and her husband Andrew Agius, together with her in-laws Anne and Martin Cesareo, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. PORTELLI. On February 12, at St Catherine's Home, Attard, Sister EUFROSINA of the Dominican Sisters, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nieces and nephews, Ġuża, Maria, Lilly, Maria, Violet, Domenic, Alfred and their spouses, Helen and her husband Vince, Tereża, widow of her brother Saviour and their children, Giovanna, MaryRose, Margaret, Joe, France, Tony, Doris and their spouses, France, John of Australia, Charlie, Joe, John, France, Anthony, and Emanuel of Canada, other relatives and friends. SCICLUNA. On February 12, at the Gozo General Hospital, Canon JOHN SCICLUNA of St George's Collegiate Chapter, Victoria, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Maria Assunta and Sister Louisetta of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, nephews and nieces. The funeral leaves the church of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart, in Victoria at 3.45 p.m. today to St George's Basilica where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at St Mary's Cemetry, Victoria. Donations to Arka respite centre will be appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

Easter Tour

The Association of the Members of the University of the Third Age will be holding an eight-day Easter tour to Andalucia, Spain between March 30 and April 6. The tour includes excursions to Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar and Marbella, among others.

The group will also be attending the Good Friday procession in Malaga and participating in the Easter Celebrations in Ronda. Members and guests can contact the organising committee on 7713 5151 for more information.

Prayer Meeting

A prayer meeting for the sanctification of priests and for priestly and religious vocations will be held today at St Helen's collegiate parish church, Birkirkara.

The prayer meeting starts at 9.45 p.m. with Mass followed by adoration going on until midnight.

Valentine's Day Mass

In order to commemorate St Valentine's Day, Mass for all couples, young and old, engaged or married, will be said at the Balzan parish church tomorrow at 5.30 p.m.

A memento will be given to all couples present.
