ASCIONE. On January 20, MICHELE of Sliema, formerly from Italy, aged 84 passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass will be said tomorrow at 9.30 a.m.at Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BIANCHI - The Noble NATHALIE, widow of Antoine Bianchi, passed away on January 20, at the age of 80, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Nicholas and his wife Marie, her son André, her daughter Annemarie and her husband Anton Tabone, her grandchildren Pierre and Robert, her brother, Baron Gino Trapani Galea Feriol and Sue Browne, her sisters, the noble Dorothy Trapani Galea Feriol and the noble Marlene Huber and her husband Edgar, her nephews, nieces and their spouses, her only surviving aunt, the dowager Baroness Phyllis de Piro d'Amico Inguanez, in-laws, cousins and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital on January 23 for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by private interment in the family chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Missionary Society of Saint Paul (MSSP) will be appreciated. Her family is grateful for the patience, attention and support provided by her doctors, the staff at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, and especially her carers. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors. May God grant her eternal rest.

CARDONA. On January 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN of Swieqi, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Diana, other relatives and friends.
