CARUANA. On July 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLIE, (ex-Topaz Barman), of Msida, residing at Rabat, aged 58, passed away peacefully , comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Emily, his children Elaine, Charlene and fiancé Ryan, his brothers and sisters and their spouses and his in-laws, nephews and nieces , other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Dominic church , Rabat where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at the Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Renal Unit at Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Advertising space
Yellow Pages (Malta) has donated the equivalent of four full pages of advertising (worth €11,520) to the National Blood Transfusion Centre to promote blood donations in the 2009-2010 edition, which will be distributed in September.
Nicky Diacono, Yellow Pages Marketing and Distributing Manager, made the donation to staff nurse Anthony Micallef of the National Blood Transfusion Centre in Guardamangia.
