Obituary
BORG - On July 4, CARMELO, aged 86, passed peacefully away at St Vincent De Paule Residence, Luqa comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Nina and her husband Emanuel, Mary and her husband Mario, Doris and her husband Twanny, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his brothers and their families. The funeral leaves St Vincent De Paule Residence tomorrow at 9 a.m. for St Teresa church, Birkirkara where Mass praesente cadaver will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Donations to the Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.
JACKSON. On July 3, VINCENZA (Tina) passed away at the age of 66 after a short illness. She will be greatly missed and mourned by her loving husband David, her children David, Philip and Michelle and all her grandchildren. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Helen, widow of Edward Borg, Mary and her husband Vince Camilleri, Josephine (Jessie), member of MUSEUM and Annie and her husband Tony Pace, his brother Charles and his wife Lourdes, his nephews and nieces, the Collegiate Chapter at St Helen Basilica, as well as all the Karkarizi, other relatives, helpers and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9.30 a.m. for St Paul Church, Birkirkara, where Dun Anton's body will lie till 1 p.m. The cortege will then leave St Paul's for St Helen Basilica where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated. Grateful thanks to all who prayed for him during the past days of his journey on this earth. Film extras wanted
Film extras are urgently wanted for a foreign commercial that will be filmed in the water tanks of Mediterranean Film Studios later this month.
The director is looking 200 'cool' boys and girls aged strictly between 25 and 35 years (ID cards will be required for verification).
They must be available between July 20 and 24, should have an outgoing personality and be able to act like they are having lots of fun setting up the 'coolest party on the planet'.
The commercial is for an alcoholic drink. Those interested are to visit the film studios in Kalkara between tomorrow and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be street signs saying 'Audition'.
