BORG. On June 14, MOYA, nèe Camilleri, aged 75, widow of George W., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by her daughters Rebecca, Rachel, her beloved grandchildren Paul and his fiancee' Rachel, Mark, Chiara and Anabel, her son-in-law Dr George Hyzler LLD., her sister Shelagh and her husband Edgar Bonavia, her brother Gary and his wife Rosette, her sister-in-law Edith and her husband Vincent Valentino, nephews and nieces, other relatives, friends and her carers. The funeral will take place tomorrow at St. Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m followed by interment at the Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated.
GALEA. On June 13, ERIC, aged 76, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Anna, his sisters-in-law Agnes, née Asciak, Vivienne née Lauri, his nephew Hilary, his nieces Mariolina, Joanna, married to James Black and Gaby, other family members and friends. The funeral leaves the Holy Family Home, Naxxar tomorrow at 9 a.m. for the Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the management and staff of both the Holy Family Home and the Malta Hospice Movement for their dedicated and devoted care. SPITERI. On June 13, MARY, née Calleja, widow of Carmel, aged 90, of Valletta, but residing at St Catherine's Home in Attard, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Elisabeth, wife of Ronald Galea, Paul and his wife Maryanne and Raymond and his wife Marisa, her brothers Paul and his wife Lydia, Vincent and his wife Lilian and her sister Sr Eligia of the Order of the Franciscan Sisters, her grandchildren Marie Claire, Johanna, wife of Pedro Cassar, Deborah, Luisa, wife of Anthony Camilleri and Marc, and her great-grandchildren Zach, Beppe, Luke and Mattea. The funeral leaves St Catherine Home at 9.15 a.m. today for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ZERAFA - On June 13, CARMELO, born in Qormi, of Balzan, residing at Villa Messina, Rabat, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church, at the age of 89. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Frances, nèe Mizzi, his daughters Rosanne and Jane, his sons George, Joseph and Michael, their respective spouses, his grandchildren, his brother Max and his sisters Sr Georgina, Sr Francesca and Sr Concetta, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina today at 1.30 p.m. for the St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza of Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. The family wish to thank the management and staff of Villa Messina for their dedicated care.
