DIMECH. On June 6, at his residence in St Paul's Bay, STEPHEN, aged 54, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. GALDES. On June 9, JOSEPHINE, of Birkirkara and residing at Villa Messina, Rabat, widow of William, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church at the venerable age of 100. She leaves to mourn her loss her nephews and nieces Dr Joseph Grech Attard, Mary and her husband Paul Vella, Taziana Grech, Helen and her husband Albert P. Mamo, Anna and her husband George Camilleri, Veronica and her husband Frank Ellul, Amata and her husband Simon J. Camilleri, Fr Christopher Galdes, Perit Joseph Briffa and his wife Paulette, Maria widow of Joseph Buhagiar, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina Residence today at 7.45 a.m. for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her great loss her daughter Denise and her husband John Portelli, her son Stephen and his wife Nadia, her precious grandchildren Sarah, Emma, Nathan, Jacques and Sebastian, her brothers and sisters, Charles, Saviour, Rose (Sr Ġemma Maria), Sebastian, Mary, George, Doris, Marthese and Lucy and their respective spouses, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Qormi cemetery.
